The present study is conducted to understand the work-life imbalance among Indian teachers of higher educational institutions. It explores the current state of higher education and the stress facing by the teachers. But does it reflect on the academician's work stress and will that lead to Work-life imbalance? Is the major study which is been carried out in this paper? Hence, the study was conducted among 125 teachers of higher educational institutions at Bangalore. With the digital transformations adapted in the various educational institutions many of the colleges and universities has renowned for high standards which has an impact on country's economy.Adoption of new technology in this era in educational institutions plays a major aspect to enhance the academician's effectiveness and satisfaction in the context of student learning. academician who has to build the knowledge and adapt to the latest technology for their career growth. Most of the educational institutions especially the higher education is making efforts to reinvent the education through various technologies as a learning platform to strengthen the aptitude and learning pace of every individual student's advancements. In the present scenario, education system in India has changed enormously with the adaptation of new technologies. The empirical investigation is based on new German data with three waves. It is analyzed whether the use of alternative control and treatment groups leads to different results. The problem of causality is investigated. Employees working from home are happier than those who want to work at home, job satisfaction is higher and work–life balance is not worse under a strict contractual agreement than under a nonbinding commitment.Ī wide range of personality traits, skills, employment properties and job characteristics are incorporated as determinants. If the imbalance is conditioned by private interests, this is not corroborated in contrast to job conditioned features. ![]() No clear effects of remote work on job satisfaction are revealed, but the impact on work–life balance is generally negative. The study investigates whether imbalances are determined by private or job influences, whether firm-specific regulations and the selected control group affect the results and whether it only takes place during leisure time. The entropy balancing approach is used to determine causal effects. To select the variables, the least angle regression is applied. Moreover, it keeps on changing the right balance today will probably be different for tomorrow. In actual sense, Work-life Balance is a broad concept, neither there is one size-fits-all definition nor its' full meaning can be captured in one single definition. In other words it deals with establishing a life which is balanced between personal and professional life through various means. Broadly where "work" means (job, career, ambition basically paid work or livelihood) ,"life" portrays (family life, personal life ,leisure life, pleasure life and social life) and "balance" refers to managing two domains successfully and satisfactorily by prioritizing between "work" on one hand and "life" on the other. What is Work Life Balance? The often used phrase "work life balance" is made up of three words-work, life and balance. ![]() This calls for the need of Work Life Balance (WLB) in one's life. Family responsibilities, self-respect, self-independency and belongingness, all get mixed up and lead to inter-role conflict, confusions and mental distress ultimately making the person unsatisfied and depressed. The pressure of achieving one's goals in order to have financial, emotional and mental stability often forces one to jump into the pool of troubles.
